Fishing Report from TPWD (Jun. 12)

GOOD. Water stained; 87 degrees; 0.19 above pool. Striper are fair to good on live bait, but some can be caught using artificial baits in 30-70 feet of water. Spoons are putting a few fish in the boat. Downriggers are not catching any fish at all. Good colors are white, chartreuse, and silver. Sand bass are fair with fish scattered in small groups. Look for them in 10-20 feet of water with live shad or small slabs and jigs white, and silver are good colors. Catfish are fair in 30-40 feet of water with cut shad. Water clarity is steady at 2-10 feet of visibility. The north end of the lake is still muddy but clearing up. Report by TJ Ranft, Ranft Guide Service.
